Fuel Prices Drop, EPRA Announces In Its Latest Review

The Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) has announced a decrease in the prices of petroleum products, in its latest monthly review.

The new Retail Prices for the petroleum update will take effect from April 15 to Tuesday, May 14.

In its latest update, Super Petrol, Diesel and Kerosene decreased by KSh.5.31, KSh.10.00 and KSh.18.68 per litre respectively.

The Super Petrol will now be Priced at Ksh 193.84, Diesel at Ksh 180.38, and Kerosene at Ksh 170.06.

According to EPRA, the prices are inclusive of the 16% Value Added Tax (VAT) in line with the provisions of the Finance Act 2023, the Tax Laws (Amendment) Act 2020 and the revised rates for excise duty adjusted for inflation as per Legal Notice No. 194 of 2020.
