Former President Uhuru Kenyatta Attends Funds Drive In Mwingi

Former President Uhuru Kenyatta on Sunday joined Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka for a Church fundraiser in Mwingi, Kitui County.

Uhuru Kenyatta who arrived on a helicopter to attend a funds drive at the Mwingi full gospel church alongside wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka was warmly received amid cheers from members of the public as his motorcade made its way to the local church.

His unexpected public appearance is, however, notable having maintained a low profile after handing over power in September last year to President William Ruto

In attendance are Machakos Governor Wavinya Ndeti, former Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya, Senators Godfrey Osotsi, Enock Wambua, among others.

Later on, the leaders are expected to address a public rally in Mwingi.
