Forbidden Romantic Relationship Between Siblings Goes Sower, Ends In Death

A 31-year-old man is wanted by Kirinyaga County police on suspicion of killing his older brother after it was discovered that they were both seeing the same woman. The incident happened in Chema Village, Ndia Constituency, on December 3.

According to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), the suspect shot and murdered his brother at their house after witnessing the older brother in a compromising situation with the teenage girl. According to the authorities, a battle between the suspect and the deceased broke out ending the life of the 37-year-old brother due to his injuries.

Officials claim that the man suffered blunt head injuries, which caused his death. He had also endured violence to his back and face. The 37-year-old man's body was brought to the mortuary at the Karatina Sub-County Hospital. The DCI claims that in March 2022, the now-deceased got their 17-year-old step-sister pregnant, but the child passed away in the womb.

The brothers and the daughter shared a biological father, despite having different mothers.
