Fire Razes Kijiji Village in South B.

Hundred of families in South B's Kijiji Village have been left out in the cold following an outbreak of fire that burnt down their houses in the evening of Monday, January 16.

Property worth Millions of shillings was destroyed in these fires which left many residents shocked as they kept on calling for help from the County Fire Department.

According to reports, the huge fire engulfed several structures in the area leading to the massive destruction of houses and property including business shops.

The cause of the fire which consumed structures along the Hazina Estate Boundary Wall in South B and its environs is yet to be ascertained.

With fire incidents on the rise in Nairobi County, the Nairobi County Fire Department arrived at the scene on time to extinguish the raging flames thus no casualties were reported.

The incident left area residents watching helplessly as the huge fire razed down their houses and were forced to spend the night in the cold urging the government to support them with new structures.
