Dembele Facing Marius Wolf In the Group Stage

Dortmund will play host to Paris Saint Germain tonight in the second semifinal of this season's Champions League in what will be a repeat of their group-stage clashes.

Dortmund will be relying on the individual brilliance of wingers, Karim Adeyemi and Manchester United loanee Jadon Sancho together with Julian Brandt to perform their magic.

PSG will hope that Kylian Mbappe will be at his best tonight to help them win the first leg ahead of the return leg in Paris. Ousmane Dembele will be returning to his former employees where his star began to shine, this time in a PSG jersey.

In the group stage games, Dortmund played to a 1-1 draw at home while in Paris, PSG won 2-0. Despite this, Dortmund finished top of the group with 11 points while PSG finished second with 8 points.

This is the first time Dortmund have reached the semifinal since 2013 when they got to the final and lost to Bayern. For PSG, the French side last featured in the semis in the 2020/2021 season when they got knocked out by Manchester City.

Luis Enrique will be eyeing to be the first coach to guide PSG to Champions League glory. Kylian Mbappe will also hope to lift his and PSG’s first Champions League trophy before his proposed departure to Real Madrid next season.

The atmosphere at the Signal Iduna Park will be electric as the yellow wall cheers their team tonight.
