Dagoretti South MP John Kiarie Mourns Loss of Father
Dagoretti South Member of Parliament John Kiarie alias KJ is mourning the loss of his father, David Waweru Ng’ethe who succumbed to cancer on the afternoon of Tuesday 9th May 2023.
Confirming the incident on 10th May 2023, Kiarie tweeted “The lion has rested. Dark, dark hour. As the 3 o'clock late afternoon sun battled with a stubborn dark cloud, for superiority in the skies, a stubborn dark cancer struck a final mortal blow. Death is so final, it is unbelievable.”
The late Ng'ethe, was the fourth Member of Parliament for Kandara, Murang’a County from 1981 to 1983. He also vied for the presidency in 1997, 2002 and 2007 but lost.
John Kiarie also shared a scripture from Acts 13:36 “Grief pierces to the core.”
The legislator shared a black-and-white photo of his father during his young days while expressing his grief.
John Kiarie’s post on his Twitter account was accompanied by lots of condolences from his followers who gave their condolences to Kiarie.
