CS Kipchumba Murkomen Aids a Gospel Artist Who Begged Him to Buy her a Car

Transport and Roads Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen has stepped in to aid one businesswoman, Mercy Jerop, who is looking for assistance in reviving her business.

The CS stated in a statement released on Monday, April 17, 2023, that he is ready to assist her in reviving a sustainable business that will enable her to survive in the long run.

“We have discussed how I can support the revival of her business. We have agreed that even though a car may be important for her ministry, it’s better to support a sustainable business that can finance her gospel ministry in the long run,” said CS Murkomen.

He went on to congratulate Mercy Jerop for her services in serving God and the people of Kenya. He quoted: Isaiah 52:7 which states:

I congratulate Mercy for her service to God and mankind. “How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, “Your God reigns!”

Mercy Jerop who came out to request CS Murkomen to buy her a car is well-known as a gospel artist who has been in the industry for over 5 years.

Besides being in the Gospel Ministry, She also works as a salonist, but COVID-19 caused a significant setback for her in 2020.
