There is fire on the Mountain, Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has called an urgent meeting in Mombasa to address a volcano that is yet to erupt.
Sources within sources close to the Deputy President have exclusively confided to Look Up Digital that the meeting is set to address a looming crack within the Kenya Kwanza Government that marked one year in Office this month.
It is believed that the meeting’s agenda is Trade CS Moses Kuria’s ouster who has allegedly been requested to hounarably step down as the Cabinet Secretary For Trade after the Public and President William Ruto’s confidants' Mounted Pressure on the outspoken CS who has been the talk of the town in recent days.
The source that sort to be anonymous further revealed that CS Kuria in a rebuttal, would spill the beans on the Strategy the Kenya Kwanza used to clinch the Presidency, something that has caused tension in the camp.

The most recent remarks that have sparked discussion online from the Trade CS are of the fuel prices.
Trade Cabinet Secretary Moses Kuria has however responded to the backlash following his comments last week, in which he suggested that Kenyans should brace for even higher fuel prices in the coming months.
After the government announced all-time high fuel prices last Thursday, Kuria remarked that fuel costs in the country would continue to surge, increasing by a minimum of Ksh.10 each month until February of the following year.
One prominent critic, Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale, condemned CS Kuria's comments as arrogant. Khalwale called on President William Ruto to dismiss the minister, as well as Energy CS Davis Chirchir and his economic advisors, in response to the escalating fuel prices.
In a post shared on X formerly Twitter, Kuria took a somewhat humorous tone when addressing the issue on Wednesday morning. He stated, "I have since received advice from individuals like Dr. Boni Khalwale and his mentor that my earlier statement was incorrect, insensitive, and displayed arrogance."
In this seemingly tongue-in-cheek message, the Cabinet Secretary added, "I am now informed that fuel prices will indeed decrease. I offer my sincere apologies, recognizing that to err is a human trait."
