The China Square Limited on Monday March 6, confirmed the resumption of operations at Unicity Mall, along Thika road.
In a statement issued by The Kenya China Chamber of Commerce (KCCC) expressed appreciation for the Kenyan government's decision to permit Chinese traders to resume their business.
Adding that the government's assistance in allowing the Chinese community to conduct business in Kenya, will help the country’s economy expand.
“The (KCCC) welcome the good news on the resumption of operations of China Square following several engagements between the Kenyan Government and the Chinese community in Kenya,” reads in a statement.
“We appreciate the Kenya Government's support in allowing the Chinese Community to do business and contribute to Kenya's growth and development efforts through employment creation and contribution to Kenya's tax revenue,” the statement added.
The chamber anticipates that all businesses will be treated equally and fairly across the board in order to ensure a positive business environment for everyone and foster friendly relations built on mutual trust and benefit.
