Embakasi East MP Babu Owino has called upon Azimio La Umoja Coalition to cease engaging the Kenya Kwanza side in the Bipartisan Talks led by the National Dialogue Committee, following the recent fuel price hike.

In his statement, the furious MP expressed concern regarding the soaring cost of living, highlighting the Government's lack of action in cushioning Kenyans against the pangs of inflation.

The Embakasi East Lawmaker accused the Government of President William Ruto of imposing on Kenyans an unbearable cost of living and turning a deaf ear to their cries.

“We need to Walk out of the Bipartisan talks. We can’t engage riffraffs and a miscreant gang whose intention is to take Kenyans to Heaven,” Babu said.

The second term MP told Kenyans to brace themselves and hold the Government accountable for the unendurable Increase in fuel prices.

“Kenyans must be brave enough to say NO to Ruto for refusing to lower the cost of living instead he’s further increasing Fuel prices,” He stated.

This comes after The Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA), released new fuel prices effective till October 14, 2023.

The Latest pricing shows an increase in all petroleum products. Epra announced that Super Petrol increased by Ksh16.96 per litre, Diesel by Ksh21.32 per litre, and Kerosene by Ksh33.13 per litre.
