Nuru Okanga, a self-proclaimed staunch supporter of Azimio la Umoja, has distanced himself from a circulating screenshot on social media, purportedly displaying his score of 401 marks in the recently released 2023 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) results.

In an exclusive statement told to our reporter on Thursday, the outspoken political enthusiast clarified that he had not yet received his national examination results.

Okanga went on to assert that the index number circulating on social media, 37610677055, did not belong to him; his actual index number begins with the digits 379********.

"That index number does not belong to me," he emphasized to exclusively to our reporter.

Okanga explained, "I am still trying to get my results because the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) has not yet released the statement."

As promised, the results checking system faced delays in mid-morning on Thursday following the release of the results by Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu.
