Another Litmus Test for The Gunners

English Premier League Leaders Arsenal will have to prove that they are capable of lifting the Premier league title this season when they will be facing nineteen times EPL Champions Liverpool at Anfield in a mouth-watering premier league match.

The Gunners have proven their eligibility to compete and even the league title this season. Having beaten some of the top teams in the league and currently leading the premier league log with 72 points only five points behind their rivals and the defending champions Manchester City.

Today, the 2004 champions will be in a tough test against the EPL giants Liverpool. However, the Reds have not been registering pleasing results this season and they are holding position eight with forty-three having played twenty-eight matches.

On the other hand, the Gunner will be facing the Red after a huge win of 4-2 against Leeds United last weekend, in addition Arsenal this season have only lost three matches, won twenty-six and three ending in draws.

In their last five meetings, Arsenal has won one, Liverpool winning three and one clash ended in a draw. It is usually hard to face Liverpool at Anfield even if they have been out of form.
