Defending champions Manchester City will face Tottenham Hotspurs tonight in what could be a title decider at the New Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Both teams have something to play for with Spurs looking to get Champions League football while City are chasing the title.

Spurs will be happy their Champions League hopes were not shattered after Aston Villa played out to a 3-all draw with Liverpool yesterday night meaning they are 5 points away from fourth.

City, on the other hand, is second with 85 points, one point off Arsenal who are top of the table. A win for City will see them go top two points clear heading into the final match day on Sunday.

A win for Spurs will move them within two points of Villa and Ange Postecoglou will hope Villa lose their final game if they are to have any hopes of qualifying for the Champions League.

A draw tonight will see City remain second since Arsenal have a superior goal difference with 61 while City have 58. A draw for Spurs would also mean they can no longer qualify for the Champions League.

Both teams have something to play for. Tottenham has been a tough test for City in recent times, especially at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium where City has not won in the last 5 matches in the league.

It’s all a wait-and-see if Tottenham will bring another twist to this intriguing title race.
