A Nakuru Sick Woman Vomits a Dead Rat

A sick middle-aged woman vomited a dead rat, which has caused panic in the Ndaragu community in Njoro, Nakuru County.

In the event on Wednesday, 28th June 2023, the mother of four, who has been ill for more than a week, claimed she began feeling queasy at midnight and began vomiting.

Locals, headed by her father and the village elder, told the journalists at the woman's home that someone had publicly disagreed with her and was suspected of being behind the unusual incident.

The sick woman claimed that at about 3 am, she felt something trapped in her throat and forced it out. She then lit her lantern and discovered the dead rat in the basin.

The woman went back to bed after the incident, and when her father told the neighbors about it, villagers flocked to the village the next morning.

In the incident's aftermath, elders are expected to gather and perform rituals.
