A Bungoma Man Caught Red Handed Having Sex With a Cow

Residents of Bukusu village, in Tuuti Marakaru ward, Kanduyi constituency, Bungoma county, were left in disbelief on Wednesday 25, 2023 after a middle-aged man was caught in a sexual act with a cow.

Ignatius Khisa, an eyewitness, said that he had caught the man pants down in the act.

"I was unsure of the man's exact actions, but as soon as he heard footsteps, he fled" Khisa stated.

Christine Wekesa, the cow's owner, claimed that her son took the animal early in the evening to graze in the underbrush.

The cow was later found tied both legs which the owner Wekesa believed that the middle-aged man did so to “enjoy himself”

Wekesa claimed that the act had never occurred in the neighborhood and urged the police to take the perpetrator into custody.

According to Section 162(b) of the Penal Code, bestiality or unnatural actions are considered felonies in Kenya. Anyone who commits the crime faces a maximum sentence of 14 years in prison.

According to the Bukusu culture, such a cow cannot be kept at home for it is believed to be linked with bad omen.

The village elders condemned the grim act terming it an embarrassment to the village and the entire Nation. They however urged parents to guide their kids well blaming heavy alcohol consumption for the action.
