27-YEAR-OLD-MAN WHO ALLEGEDLY MURDERED HIS WIFE AND TWO KIDS ARRESTED

The 27-year-old man who murdered his sister-in-law and two kids yesterday at Mesaria village in Kisii County has been arrested.

Alex Ayata Migosi tried to flee after committing the homicide but was caught within the Kegogi location in the Marani sub-county, Kisii hours after the heinous act.

Moments before the savage attack, neighbours were reported to have witnessed a heated argument with the suspect’s brother Patrick Omuga.

The children in question were aged 4 and 3. And the sister-in-law was 27 years old as well.

The suspect sneaked into his brother’s house with a will to resolve and settle the unmentioned issue.

He showed up with a machete and slayed the trio cold-bloodedly to the horror and surprise of the neighbors.

The police in the area coordinated a manhunt to corner the suspect before he could leave the region. “Efforts which hours later bore fruits.“ A DCI report said.

Alex Ayata is currently being processed for arraignment.
