2022 KCPE Results To Be Released Next Week

The Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) which was held between Friday 25, November 2022 and Wednesday 30, November 2022 result’s is set to be announced next week. This will see candidates who sat for the examination receive their results before Christmas and enable parents to start planning for their children’s form one admission this coming January. Speaking in Nyaribari Masaba, Kisii County, on December 12 2022 CS Machogu stated that Mr Machogu said the Education Ministry had put in place stringent measures to guard against any incidents of cheating during the conduct of the exams.

“We delivered a credible KCPE exam. It was done with integrity. I was not able to supervise exams in every corner of the country but we had put up a system where all officers manning the exams had individual responsibility and accountability.” Said CS Machogu

A total of 1,287,597 candidates were registered for the KPSEA and 1,244,188 candidates for KCPE. This reflected a total of 493 examination storage and distribution centers. The one million two hundred and forty-four one hundred and eighty-eight students who sat for the KCPE examination will get to know their results next week.  

“Next week we are announcing KCPE examination results and you will not hear any cases of cheating under the leadership of Machogu. The grading of Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) is progressing well and I can assure you, the results will not be riddled with any irregularities,” Machogu said.

This announcement comes just as President Ruto issued a directive in his speech during the 59th Jamhuri Day Celebrations. The President stated that the Teachers Service Commission should begin the recruitment of 30,000 teachers this coming January.

“I have instructed the teachers' service commission to commence the be hiring of the largest cohort of teachers in independent Kenya, we are going to hire 30,000 teachers by early next year to provide instructions to our school,” President Ruto said.
